Podcast & Video Creative Direction

Creative Direction - Podcast Strategy - Creative Briefs - Branding

Across podcast and video projects, I helped shape the creative direction behind how each show looked, felt, and showed up across platforms. My work included moodboards, set mockups, creative briefs, thumbnail direction, show notes, social packaging, and content support — helping turn early ideas into clearer systems for design, production, post, and promotion.

My Role

I helped translate early client conversations, show concepts, and strategic direction into creative materials that designers, editors, producers, freelancers, and clients could use. Depending on the project, that included moodboards, set mockups, creative briefs, thumbnail direction, show notes, social packaging, and delivery support.

  • Designed sets and created mockups to help clients visualize how podcast and video brands could show up on camera

  • Built creative briefs for designers, editors, producers, and freelancers

  • Supported thumbnail direction, social clip packaging, and content recommendations

  • Wrote and organized show notes, episode details, and delivery materials

  • Helped keep creative direction consistent across video, podcast, social, and supporting assets

Key Contributions

I used moodboards to turn early creative conversations into a clearer visual direction. By pulling references for color, type, layout, motion, thumbnails, set inspiration, and overall tone, I helped align clients, designers, editors, and producers before the work moved into execution.

Moodboards

I created set design mockups and moodboards to help visualize how a podcast could show up in a physical production space. These concepts helped align the team on tone, layout, furniture, lighting, props, and branded details before anything was built or filmed.

Set Design

I created creative briefs to help translate strategy into clear direction for designers, editors, producers, and freelancers. These briefs outlined the project goals, audience, tone, visual references, deliverables, key messages, and creative considerations so everyone had a shared understanding of what we were making and why.

Creative Briefs

Beyond the visual direction, I also supported the systems around podcast and video content, including show notes, thumbnail direction, social clip packaging, episode details, delivery workflows, and content strategy recommendations. This helped make each show easier to manage, publish, promote, and keep consistent across platforms.
