Studio Website Redesign

Multiple overlapping website screens for MNYK Studios, a multimedia production company, displaying pages about their services, studio studio, podcast studio, and audio recording studio, with a laptop keyboard visible underneath.

MNYK Studios is a full-service video, audio, podcast, broadcast, and creative production studio in Philadelphia. As the studio’s work expanded across podcasts, livestreams, branded video, photography, green screen, motion graphics, and on-location production, the website needed to better reflect the range and quality of what the team could offer.

The goal was to create a clearer, more useful website that could explain the studio’s services, showcase recent work, and help potential clients understand what kind of production partner MNYK Studios could be.

I led the full redesign and ongoing maintenance of the MNYK Studios website, working across structure, design, copy, positioning, project organization, and content updates.

MNYK Studios does a lot. The studio’s capabilities span so many categories that the website needed to feel comprehensive without becoming overwhelming. The challenge was organizing the work in a way that made sense for potential clients, while still showing the energy and range of the studio.

The Challenge

I focused on clarity first. The site needed to quickly answer: What does MNYK do? Who is it for? What kind of projects can happen here? Why should someone trust this team?

From there, I helped shape service pages, homepage messaging, and project highlights around the actual ways clients use the studio: recording podcasts, producing branded video, hosting livestreams, capturing events, building sets, filming green screen, creating social assets, and supporting larger production needs.

The Approach

The redesigned site became a more accurate and useful reflection of the studio’s work. It gave the team a stronger place to send prospective clients, a clearer way to explain services, and a flexible platform that can continue to grow as new projects are completed.

The Result

A sitemap diagram showing website structure for MNYK Studios, with sections highlighted in green for proposed changes. It includes top navigation items like Broadcasts & Events, Video Productions, Audio Recording, Studio Rental, About, and Made at MNYK. Subpages are listed under each main category.

Sitemap updates

A detailed digital document outlining an action plan. It includes sections on navigation tasks, site updates, and specific action items with references and deadlines. The document features headings, bullet points, and some crossed-out text.

Planning + working docs

A screenshot of a text document discussing website design, including topics such as mega menus, overall design, layout improvements, navigation features, mobile optimization, and suggestions for streamlining the homepage.
